Tom Schmidt joined Vince at Huron's Auto Tech Program in October 2018. Tom supports the students working in the shop, dispensing tools and guidance. He also has been clearing out and reorganizing the shop to Vince's great delight. Prior to October, Tom supported special needs students in CTE's Auto Tech and Home Building programs at Pioneer.

Thank You to MEEMIC Insurance for donating a 2018 Dodge Challenger to the Auto Tech Program at Huron. The students can't wait to prep the car for High School Drags at Milan! College and Industry Representatives Visits
Displays like this WCC-customized mid-engine Ford 500 helped inspire Pioneer students' career choices and educational goals. Recruiters visit the classrooms to address wide-ranging options with students, from automotive service to engineering.
New Shop Equipment!!Recently arrived new equipment includes Snap-On DMM Training Carts which will enable students to earn Snap-On C3 certification. Also unboxed are Mac Tools DMT 10 Diagnostic Scanner Tools and Snap-On Relay Testing Sets, as well as additional socket sets and special-purpose tools.

Ken Lewis is now in his second year at Pioneer, continuing to grow the Auto Tech Program there. His students are learning many skills, from rebuilding engines to mounting and balancing tires.
